I repotted yesterday to a chunkier mix due to soil not draining well. I did lose some roots in the process. Now leaves are droopy. Will she recover or did I just kill this plant?

Pileas are sturdy. It should be fine 🙂 Also, it’s deemed to lose it’s lower leaves.

Just repotting shock, especially since there was root damage. Give it a few days and it will recover.

This really looks like repot shock, especially since it happened right after losing roots, and pileas can go floppy fast when the root system suddenly can’t support all the leaves. I wouldn’t panic yet or keep fiddling with it, just give it bright indirect light, keep the new mix lightly and evenly moist for a bit instead of swinging wet to dry, and maybe remove the yellowing leaf so it can focus on recovery. If the stem stays firm and the droop doesn’t keep worsening over the next week or two, there’s a very good chance it’s just having a dramatic little reset 😊
