I'm proud of this corner I've been redoing ever since I found out the bigger tree is right on top of a sprinkler head and the roots pretty much destroyed it, so that's why the St Augustine grass had so much trouble growing here.
If there's any advice I'd like, I want to know how to stop weeds from growing in the rocks? I can add more rocks on top, but this is a pain to pull weeds out of already and I'm worried it'll just be harder to pull them with more rocks. Or anything else I should do there that still keeps the color contrast, not just more mulch.

You’re right more rocks won’t help. Really removing the rocks and mulching is the best option for the tree health and weed control. For contrast you could add more larger rocks like the boulder you have or just do a paver/brick edge where the plastic edging is now.
Small stones like that are a nightmare for weeds and you really can’t spray or burn the weeds because of the tree. If you do add mulch make sure not to pile it up right against the tree or cover the surface roots too deeply
