4 years ago I planted this blossom tree and this year, for whatever reason. We’ve had the best flowering yet.

It looked lovely at twilight last night so I snook out to take a few pics to share.

I only wish the wind would stay down so it stays around for longer

  1. It seem you’ve caught Venus, in the last photo, just before it sets in the WNW after the sun. It will be visible in this position through the summer getting gradually brighter. It will eventually disappear in October only to reappear in the morning sky in the ENE in mid November. Keep an eye out for it.

After the sun and moon Venus is the brightest thing in the night sky and although it’s a planet it is referred to as the evening star, in the evening sky, and the morning star when seen in the morning and, because of its brightness , it has many times been reported as a UFO
