Are you sure it’s not just a new leaf? Begonia maculata leaves come in pink then turn green. If you are certain that it isn’t you cannot prop cane begonias from just a leaf, you will need to chop the cane and put that in water or soil, I would recommend water because I find I have less chance of root rot.
