Get rid of the native weeds, you have plenty of them everywhere else! Make that a garden to enjoy with beautiful plants and shrubs. Spot looks comfortable!lol
One of my cats loves the opportunity to jump on my back if I bend over and then she'll just lay there like I'm staying hunched over just for her😅 But she's old so she'll only do it if I'm bending over at an area where she can walk right onto my back like if I'm leaning over by the counter and she happens to be there. Or if I'm leaning over in the bathroom and she happens to be on the shelf that is right at hip height. Lol
Decent amounts of food in less work for perennials like Globe green Artichokes; Asparagus both purple and green; Berries; the Jerusalem Artichoke (Invasive but lots of food if you tolerate it – some have digestive issues from it); Moringa if kept small. You know what is better in your area and will grow for years (artichokes 2 years but reseed).
