I set this one outside the greenhouse to catch the afternoon sun. Went to give it some water and one of the retaining wall steps I’m working on leading up to the greenhouse… gave way and I went head first into the cactus. I’m fairly certain there is a spine in my jaw as it hurts to chew and there feels like some hard under the surface. Supper grateful that nothing ended up in my eye.

TL;DR: Don’t be a dumbass like me and fall on your cacti.

My sister had to pay 50 bucks to get that done

If your job/lifestyle permits it, I would 100% make that a permanent piercing. Would make a great story. 🌵

Jesus Christ. Are you keeping that in there?

I’ve always heard that if you piece the wrong part of your cartilage you’re risking nerve damage. Guess you got lucky!

You were trying to hear grandfathers voice, but it doesn’t work quite like that young gun

I’ve thought about it few times note how easy it would be to pop your eye ball leaning over a large pot tending to grafts and cactus planted in the same pot. I guarantee you if it hasn’t already happened it will! Thanks for sharing

Dang, I’m glad it was your ear and not your eye.

Someone got excited to pull a weed or admire their plants! You should make a novelty out of it and pierce it in the more comfortable location within that area!
