My new String of heart is putting out new growths but its old leaves are soft and wrinkles even after I water the plant. I put it together with my cacti, under a growlight for 14 hours per day, which is strong enough for the cacti to bloom. I wonder if this is the reason the leaves are soft? Too much light?

It’s likely you’re not watering it enough especially if you’re giving it that much light. Should bottom water it, let it soak up what it needs for 20-30 mins or so depending on your soil. The leaves will plump up. Dnt put it directly under the grow lights after watering, depending on your house the heat may cause the soil to not dry out timely.
Mine sits under a T5 and it’s grown so much under a year.
