Two five-gallon buckets pulled from the trash → a hanging upside-down cherry tomato tower.
Build steps in 16s:
• Jigsaw a 10″ circle out of the blue bucket bottom
• Drill a 3″ access hole + a ring of drainage holes
• Bevel, sand, grommet the rim
• Bolt orange-over-blue at the seam — stacked planter, sealed
• Fill with soil, lower seedling roots-first so the stem pokes out the bottom
• Hang from an H-frame stand, water the top, watch drip appear at the bottom
• Time-lapse: foliage cascades down → ripe cluster payoff
No raised bed. No ground space. Just two scavenged buckets and a stand.
Inspired by the Instructables double-bucket upside-down tomato build (2012).
