Last year I bought an Aster in honor of St. Michael the Archangel. We celebrate the feast of the Archangels on September 29.
Anyway, my Aster came back this Spring and with it, a new sprout! At first I thought it was a peanut plant bc I have a squirrel friend that I feed. He often digs and borrows in that plant pot, so it made sense. I was stoked!
I removed the sprout from the pot and put it in its own pot. Turns out, its a starfruit tree!
The real miracle here is that Aster is Greek for "star" (asteri) and I reaped a starfruit tree from it.
Could be a coincidence, absolutely. I live in 7b zone so theres no reason for a starfruit tree to naturally grow in my area. Im guessing that my squirrel friend found a starfruit seed from discarded food and buried it in the pot.
Either way, whether you believe in God or not, its pretty incredible. It could be a coincidence, absolutely, but its just too perfect. I truly believe that this was a gift from Michael the Archangel as a thanks for honoring him ❤️

That’s sweet. Best of luck to your new tree
So you figure an archangel is helping with your gardening when you see all the horrible stuff going on in the world?
Must be nice.
Enjoy the plant.
