Henbit is a nutritious annual “weed” that is great for people, ducks, chickens, and rabbits. Instead of throwing it into your compost pile, consider eating it and/or feeding it to the aforementioned to livestock.  it is packed with iron, fiber, antioxidants, and other nutrients. Anytime you can feed your livestock vegetation, you can lower your feed expenses. Happy gardening and homesteading!
