Hi all,
I just received my new Nepenthes N. 'Gaya' hybrid yesterday.
The care sheet that came with it said to flush with RO water upon receipt, which I have done. I also placed it in a cloche with a full spectrum light.
The seller sent a couple of dried black soldier fly larvae and a couple of osmocote 14-14-14 pellets.
Right now the pitchers are pretty small, about an inch or so. My question is should I put a couple of drops of water in each pitcher and feed them or should I wait until they develop the digestive liquid on their own and then feed them?
Should I use the larvae or the osmocote to fertilizer? Could I use the larvae in one pitcher and the fertilizer in another?
Right now there’s only two pitchers that are big enough, the others are smaller.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations you can provide.
