  1. Beautiful work! I’m curious about the reason because I imagine rabbits etc will get through easily

Hey not to rag on your garden or anything but now that you have that fence up you should really put beds everywhere where they aren’t right now.  You have like 2ish beds in a very large area.  Where the beds are should be walking space and the entire perimeter should be beds.  Gardens are for growing not for showing.

All that light pollution is gonna wreck nocturnal pollinators and insects

Looks fantabulous!!!! Very sleek. Love the lining choices.

I’m a massive fan of the wired fencing choice.

    Feel good about your build!!

This looks so nice. I’m always jealous of people who don’t have to battle deer just to grow some vegetables! I love our deer, but I also have 7 acres worth of wild flowers, shrubs, and grasses they can eat freely.

A few plants always make a garden better…lol.
    I do love the lighting!

Rock is not the play. Use wood chips

  8. Get rid of all the lights and use mulch, not rock.

Got a similar setup in Minecraft. Get some chests in there to store your tools and seeds.

Nicely done. If you don’t have especially difficult weeds, like ground elder, you might be just as good off having just mown grass between the boxes. Thw mowing will keep the weeds down.

I have several of those weeds – ground elder, couch grass and stinging nettles – and have tried using landscape fabric with stones on top. Looks nice for a few years, but inevitably some soil will be created in amongst the top layer, and the weeds will find it. So now I have to either redo it or dig it over and sow grass instead. Right now, I’m more for the latter solution, as I don’t want to spread micro plastics around every five years or so. :/
