Just looking for some advice and ideas about trying to pop some old seeds. Found a few really old seeds that are most like from the 80s. Possibly the early 90s. 1 seed looks gnarly and prob has no hope. The other is actually in really good condition. These were from my step dad that he left. He use to go to Amsterdam back in the day an bring seeds back. Not sure if these are from there or not. Would be awesome if possible to pop one of these. It would be like a time machine. So has anyone had anyone luck germinating something this old and if so how did you do it? Would love to hear some ideas from people that have had success doing that. Thanks in advance. Btw happy 420

If your serious about it. It might be worthwhile to try and send to tissue culture lab for processing if not its a gamble. I would soak in water for 36 hours before paper towel or putting into starter/cube/soil.
And do the scuffing on sandpaper trick to help get it open after soaking
