I can’t say what it is, but it’s absolutely not lesser celandine.
Nope, not lesser celandine, which I just spent a couple hours pulling today.
When you pull one of these up, are there those tiny tubers attached to it under the soil? That would be a sign of lesser celandine.
Rather than general ai, try an app like picture this. I find it works pretty well.
This is not lesser celandine, but it does look a lot like creeping bellflower. I thought I had a problem with it, but this is crazy. Smothering it might be the best option given the density. Edit to add, I just saw you are Chicago suburbs, yeah, it’s creeping bellflower.
