Bought my parents house. My dad had a giant display case from the old family business. Wife wanted it gone, but it’s massive, and I’m lazy so I put a little bug in her ear and she took it from there.

Disclaimer: Work in progress so we do have some filler in there.

Such a classy and well balanced display, wow.

If the terracotta trays are directly touching the wood, pop a little something between them to avoid moisture build up, which will leave a watermark. Ask me how I know.

That is lovelyyy!! I honestly would love this in my home!

Beautiful! I think I would just theoretically worry about it being too far from light, or the glass layers combined with distance from a window possibly impacting light absorption, but you might find that to not be a problem at all, fingers crossed!

I worry about the old books in a humid environment.

The first picture, with the itty bitty plant on top!

    The full display is lovely!

Love! Is it fully in glass? How do you water/control air/humidity or am I missing something? Such a cool idea and well executed!

Is it not dangerous to the books with the humidity from the plants?
