Your shrug looks super cute.
man all of us who live in dry or low precipitation climates are feeling so validated right now!!! it's so so hard to keep on top of the timing of everything when germination is a huge struggle!!!
p.s. could you tell your friends at Greenstalk that some of us really love and miss the terra cotta color… 😭
😢 lambs quarters is packed with super nutrition really recommend you grow & use it
I love growing bush beans and carrots in greenstalks. You could try that if you have blank spaces.
Love your shrug
Hi Jess, love both your channels !! Thank you for your code. I just ordered 3 green stalks. My first time with them & I'm soooo excited !! Love & blessings. I'm so glad your doing a book too ! ❤❤❤
Yay on the cookbook. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Your garden is looking great. Loved seeing your plans. Hearts and Flowers coming your way. ❤️💐
Garden tour please!!! Your tours make me get out and get busy.
We had a drought last year and it was the worst gardening year for everyone I talked to
Jess, have you considered making strawberry leather..it’s a wonderful snack..and easy to pack around
I love it 😍
We are not supposed to lust, but look at that GARDEN!!! Jess it’s already so fabulous. You are a blessing
Hi Jess, you finished the sweater and it looks beautiful on you ❤❤❤
This SC drought is wild. Only about a third of the 175 bush bean seeds I planted germinated 😮 I was hand watering but apparently not nearly enough to make up for how dry the soil is. Silver lining may be decreased disease pressure? After last years cold rainy spring, maybe my tomatoes will have a chance!
It’s definitely challenging to get the garden started this season! 90’s to a frost warning tonight, and ditto on the winds. (NC). Just got my drip system up and running, which I normally don’t use.
oi garotinha querida good morning Califórnia 🇺🇸 maravilhosa 🌹👏🏻
What juicer do you use?
I tried to use the ROOTS10 code and it wouldn’t apply. Is there a minimum you have to spend to use the code?
Just ordered, excited to try the greenstalk planters!
My germination has been terrible here in Irmo as well. Two of like 20 cucumbers germinated. Zinnias have volunteered in the gravel pathways and I have been moving them to small pots until they get big enough to move.
Young lady i know what you mean about the tomato seedlings. Mine exploded in this weird Southeast Missouri spring. My normal timetable went out the window. Tomato plants rumning out of ears.
I didn’t know the name of lambs quarters!!! only knew the Spanish/mexican Spanish name for it, my grandma loves cooking with it !
My biggest issue this year is what looks like herbicide damage to plants that round up normally doesnt bother like my ancient lilac bush, my ferns, and my peonies, their leaves look curled. I heard last year that this administration was going to allow whoever the big herbicide manufacturer is, use one of the chemicals in agent orange, but I havent searched it in a long time… now Im wondering if they didnt do that and thats why Im seeing this damage. Our temps have also been way up high and a few times at or below freezing for a few hours which could damage some leaves,,, but it wasnt frost and I know what that looks like. These leaves are just curled up and reminds me of how tomatoes get that twisted look to them from round up.
Here in indiana we have been pretty much threatening drought to. Normally it gets real dry starting around late july august, but this year I can tell by my natural little tree root bird water container, its just not enough rain. Its nearly dried up unless I fill it for them. That wind is the worst hu? In the place we live, surrounded by crop fields, we get wind that tears up a lot of tender spring plants. I have had to learn to be very choosy about what I grow and where. My asparagus is pathetic this year so far, as is most people Iv seen. Mines not asparagus beatle, its just not coming up probably the wiild up and down temps. Only three out of probably 15 crowns have even come up. I left them, no cutting this year to let them recover.
Love your hair and your incredibly sweet sweater jacket! Raining here in south eastern Massachusetts came inside to see what’s happening in your garden. I thank you for sharing your space with us!❤❤
The radish greens are delicious as are all brassica leaves. Eat them too like collard greens.
afternoon love the garden
Have you considered DE for your rolly-pollys?
Hi Jess, what are your thoughts on growing garbanzo beans, chickpeas I’m dying to grow them but really never see anybody grow them
I really want one of those razzleberry planters for herbs! Looks like a major space saver.
Roly Polys are bad?
Jess, for the little Maple in the pot, why not try the "air layering method" on that one limb and see if you can get a whole new Maple tree started? That would be an awesome experiment!
I might have ordered 2 more greenstalks after the last video. . But the color was only available a short time and it was such a good sale. . . 😂 and the strawberry cups are so cute. . .😂
Great video! Love your Granny Stitch crochet bolero!
I grew lime basil in my greenstalk last year and it was a favorite! If you haven’t grown it before, definitely worth trying.
We need more info about your cookbook!!! I would love to purchase an autographed copy!
I’m really hoping to get a Greenstalk for Mother’s Day!! 😁
Fennel is a weed here in Los Angeles.
Hey Jess! It is dry in zone 8b Middle Georgia too. No rain in a while. No drip irrigation. Struggling to water every 2 or 3 days. Sincerely, Wanda
I planted Seascape strawberries last week in my very first GreenStalk. I purchased the blossom color when they had their warehouse sale back in the fall and of course I used your coupon code! Thanks for saving me money and being such a great teacher. You inspired me to start my own gardening/cooking channel and I hope I can show others how you can find peace in the garden and joy in the kitchen. You rock Jess!
Ok, it's YOUR fault.. well not really but kinda. Even with Greenstalk $50 off plus your $10 off, I managed to spend over $200 ( and amazingly with my Hubby's blessing). I got the razzleberry one. It'll look nice with the green one I got last year. I'm so excited to get my new one. !!!!!!
I have a white jasmine at my gate light pole. It is actually blooming right now and walking in the gate to my house smells wonderful. I had planted it in a flower pot two years ago and it has gone rouge in growing. I’m in North Florida, Zone 9.
Great vlog Jess!!!
Your crop sweater looks great, you did good.
I’ve never been able to keep French Tarragon alive … it’s three very not in my green stalk ❤
