First time trying two ecospheres from a creek by my house. The jar on the left seems to be lifeless after day 5 aside from 1 scud. The other is teeming with life at day 8 but larger worms have died and I'm afraid it will crash with the decay and no living plants. I couldn't find any aquatic plants nearby which seems crucial. Could going back later and introducing a plant from a different area of the creek or different body of freshwater all together be advised? Or could I wait if any algae grows and might help out?
Open to any suggestions on how to improve the general setup as well!
