I'm in southern Oregon and I bought these what I thought were Dahlia tubers last spring and planted them. I was so excited when they started to bud this year. Low and behold it is not a Dahlia. It's still a rad flower but I don't know anything about its care, lifespan or really anything about it.

Schreiner’s Gardens in Salem is an Iris Farm. They have care info on their website.

Bearded Iris. I’m sorry that you were expecting dahlias, I’d totally be disappointed. Still a lovely flower though, and you can snip them and bring them inside.

Bearded Iris, and a fun color one at that! If you plant it in the ground, it will multiply over time. Offers excellent foliage interest when it’s not in bloom.
