Making a difference to the world around us can sometimes feel hopeless, but – working with Nature in our garden we can make big changes in small spaces. Join me for a quick share in my Australian Homestead ‘Potager’ garden in this small area, using a variety of colour, dimensions and shape of plants. Mixing flowers, herbs and other edible plants provides food for the kitchen, food and habitats for pollinators, other insects and birds, and builds a small sustainable world. The soil, it’s caretaking lifeforms and the complex systems within the soil are nourished and kept healthy by the flourishing, diverse community living above it. A refreshing look at how we can make positive changes to the world around us.
