  1. We often think plants are always harmless, but that’s not really true. Some can be beautiful yet not suitable to grow at home, especially with kids around.

  2. yikes! I learned the hard way that many ornamentals are toxic. I have goats who will eat or at least taste most everything, but so many things are extremely dangerous. Turns out a lot of these are toxic to our pets and other livestock as well.

  3. My mother always planted caster beans in our backyard. I haven’t seen castor bean seeds in a long time. No one ever got sick or died.

  4. How do i get rid of English Ivy??? ONE tiny leaf transplsnted from my mother's yard by my child 15 years ago has taken over !! i have Virginia creeper naturally growing in my yard…But my mother's house has a far worse problem: RUNNING BAMBOO crossing into her yard from the vacant lit next door! I've decided if it comes from Asia, BEWARE! Chinese wisteria, Kudzu, and Bamboo are some of the WORSE problem plants of the South. All from Asia!

  5. It is so confusing when you are talking about a plant, and the video is showing totally unrelated plants. Please try to keep the video more in line with audio.
