I want to add more of a cleanup crew in the water of this tank…. There 2 snails in the water right now but they have a high waste load… so I was thinking of adding cherry shrimp or scuds/aquatic isopods. Thoughts?
I have built a couple of setups for my leopard frog. This is the first big bioactive option I have built. Still learning as I go!

Looks good.
Well done.
A few aquatic plants would do wonders. I really like floating plants they are easy to care for and are super effective at cleaning the water. Anubias could be a nice solution, slow grower but they look really nice.
No clue about your water volume though, shrimps dont need much but they need stability. In low volume its a lot harder to avoid “pollution” spikes
