Need help installing this irrigation disc filter

Hi everyone,
First of all, I hope this kind of question is allowed in the group. I have a farm and I'm currently working on my irrigation setup, but I could really use your expertise. I have a disc filter like the one in the attached picture, and I’m not 100% sure how to install it correctly.
Here are the details on the filter:
– There is an arrow on the body showing the flow direction
– Two side ports
– One bottom port
– One top port
Can someone please explain the proper way to connect these ports and install it? I really need your help. Thank you in advance!
