Hi all, I'm asking this question for my mom. She wanted to know if it was normal for the "pitchers" to die off and if not what does she need to do that she's not already doing? She has had this pitcher plant for about a month and has been watering (with distilled water) it and keeping soil damp. It's near a window so its getting plenty of indirect light throughout the day and gets morning sun. She hasn't repotted it yet.

It looks like you may be asking about a carnivorous plant. In addition to any advice you receive here, please consider visiting r/savagegarden for more specialized care advice.

Yes, the pitchers will die and new ones will come in. You can clip them off.
