For cuttings this short I usually do moss but I would think this would work.
It’s okay but not ideal, imo. Splitting into multiple cups would be better, so the leaves can all get light.
Yes it’ll work! I do all of mine this way. I put a little hydrogen peroxide in before putting the water in and the cutting.

Yes, it’s pothos. Pretty hard to kill and easy to propagate. These all started like that. There’s at-least 50 of them in there.
