I always come back to Huw's channel. Feels like a friend filling me in on all the changes in the garden. He has the same enthusiasm for his garden that I have for my own.
Good morning Huw, the garden is looking wonderful. We are dipping down to 21* F tonight so I'm sure I'll loose a few things, the plums are in full bloom sadly. I completely forget my plants here and there, its good you laugh about it. Have a great day~~Heather
Im loving this! I have just put up a poly tunnel and now I have a totally different vision of what it can be like! Thinking some apples along a back space that I was wondering what to plant in-thinking im moving some daffs and finding space for more blackcurrent bushes. This is terrible 🙂 its never ending :)-seriously thank you-getting so excited and inspired!
Huw delighting himself with his "Optimus Prime" mis-spoken reference is the most delightful thing I have seen on YouTube in a long time. Thank you, Huw, for all which you do for the community. Be well. Cheers.
I grow chop suey greens purely for their flowers, I'm in Western Australia and they are a stunning scatter seed bed filler, growing as tall as a human and covered in big yellow and yellow/white daisies 😊
I've had a box of surprise perennial vegetables from Dyfi Plants, absolutely lush looking specimens. It would be ace if you or on the Dyfi Plants channel could do some shorts on how best to plant up and take care of/harvest these plants. I had no idea that some serums would be edible, and the salad burnet I have is growing like crazy but it's still in the pot as I'm not quite sure how best to treat it. Not that you're busy or anything huw and team 😊
Huw, your spring layout is beautiful! I’m adapting these kitchen garden ideas for my tropical space in Guyana. It’s wild how much faster everything grows in our heat!
Would it be possible to post a list of all of the plants that you mention? A lot of them are new to me and sound very exciting. But I am Dutch so it is a bit hard to pick up all the names from just listening. A list would make it a lot easier to translate and also to store the info. Those Himalayan honeysuckleberries sound delicious!
Zone 6a,a lot of big temperature swings I have to squeeze every day I can out of the growing season. Start seedlings indoors, plant undercover, use as much of the garden as I can.
I'm always jealous of those in zones that are already growing. We just lost the last of our 6 feet of snow and they're calling for another round again. 😫

Looking forward to a week of nice weather finally…
Sedums, especially Sedum telephium for its mass of leaves, tastes wonderful with slices of orange! . ..a mix between greeneries salad and fruit salad.
7:17 making me feel better about my meagre numbers of seedlings!

Thank you, Huw!!! Your garden is gorgeous and always looks so perfect. You are such an inspiration to me!
Huw gets me so fired up about gardening! 🔥
You are who I want to be when I grow up
The slugs are listening to hear what seeds you will be starting soon… They're hungry and wanting to plan their menu.
I've come to the same conclusion about reserving my main beds for annuals and planting perennials in the borders

Growing apricot tree in a greenhouse/polytunnel is a genius idea. Do you need a special variety, or any would do?

I never felt more SEEN that when you had think it out to remember what plant you planted❤❤❤❤😂😂❤❤❤
Dude you have relaxed so much in your videos, i really like how spontaneous and funny they have become
What are the beautiful yellow flowers in the poly tunnel?
Good you haven't had any bird problems with the Japanese vine berry since it seems to be invasive.
Perennial kale or collard?
Thank you for the great videos!
I think I will also bravely plant my tomatoes next week.
