\*\* posting for a friend, this in NOT my plant!
Friends father died and he is cleaning out his home. Many plants were neglected in the past few years. But this is the biggie. It is 8 feet tall. Has been in this spot many, many years. No idea when it was last watered. May have never been pruned.
If you needed to "do something" with this euphorbia, what would you do? It can't stay in the house.
These are the best pictures I could get without moving furniture.
I am going to take a few sections to grow my own, but that does not solve the bigger issue.
I am concerned about the spots on the lower part of the plant (not the corking- but the spots on/in the corking)
Thank you!

If I were to receive this plant I would cut it to bits – keep a nice piece for myself that’s big but not unwieldy, root everything else to give away or sell.
If they were to go the chopping route they could make two dozen decently sized plants out of this with a little care, attention and patience.
I would also cut it but grow the cuttings in the same pot or a bigger one and create a shorter colony.
