Proud of harvest preview so far! I call my veggie garden “Toadvine” and have done it off and on a few times since 2018. This time I started everything from seeds (shoutout FL seeds) for the first time in March 1: Seminole pumpkin, jalapeño and Japanese eggplants, San marzano tomatoes, basil, Thai basil, watermelon radishes, Danvers carrots, arugula, springer lettuce, cucumbers, zucchini, and marigolds and zinnia added later. I use the Mister Landscaper system which I recently learned is based locally in the county I grew up in here in FL. Mixed in Black Kow manure into the sandy soil here and sprinkled a balanced granular fertilizer on after about 5 weeks. I’m getting so much peace and satisfaction from nurturing these plants. It has spun off into researching preserving and fermentation techniques that I’m excited to try. Y’all’s photos inspire and teach me!
