I have had this for about 3 months from trader Joe's. It's been in a south facing bedroom with huge windows and she seems very happy. The roots coming out and in every direction tell me it needs a bigger home. Do I just use a bigger pot or moss poles or… any guidance is most graciously appreciated

Bigger pot by a couple of inches.

    Moss pole for support.

You have multiple plants in that pot so it’s up to you if you want to separate them or keep them together.

I would recommend splitting it up. You have multiple plants there, and a moss pole won’t help with the way it currently is setup. A moss pole needs to support the back of the plant. With multiple plants in one pot, it’s not possible.

If you plan to keep it as is, expose the roots and see what it looks like. Monsteras like to be a bit root bound so, if that is not the case leave her be.

I would just rotate it every watering a quarter turn if you keep it in its current configuration.

My first monstera I bought was from a big box store like this, and I didn’t know it was multiple plants either. ( I knew nothing about plants) I ended up splitting it up after doing research, and got 7 or 8 different plants in one pot. It was a mess. I only have 3 left. Some had root rot, some had leaves pointing completely backwards, and I gave a few away.

Monsteras when setup properly face one direction, and are not rotated.
