This is my brother’s plant that he got 3 weeks ago and he’s repotted it twice (once into a pot way too big and then to this pot). he said it started dying over a week ago and when i helped him repot it the second time i noticed a scale on it. the plant sits on the windowsill of an east facing window. both of the pots have had drainage holes and he’s watered it three times since he got it though i don’t know how much. the soil is just regular potting mix and he has not fertilized it. any tips on how to help it come back to life would be great! thanks in advance

Unfortunately its still overpotted and its probably toast ivy is Unfortunately extremely difficult to keep indoors and quite frankly shouldn’t be sold as a houseplant they just need way more light and humidity than most households can provide if he wants something similar id look into pothos or wandering dude.

Every January my ivies lose all their leaves. I lost one ivy over the winter, but my two variegated are coming back. They are difficult to keep in my opinion. Definitely second the other comment about suggesting a pothos or a wandering dude.
