So we’re part timers at the moment and only get to the property once a month. We just put in an 18 tree orchard. I’m developing a spring but it’s not ready yet so I came up with this diy water trailer and gravity feed system. It’s a 1,000gal bladder in a 2×4 box I mounted on a trailer. I park it up the hill and have an automatic valve. So far it’s working! I’ll file this under if it’s stupid and it works, it’s not stupid.

All you can do is try! Looks good to me.
If it works…my neighbor hauls two IBC totes around on a trailer to move water. I have an IBC tote at the top of a hill that acts as a water tower for a solar drip setup, any excess ends up in the tote and can act as a reserve on cloudy days.
Should you cover it to keep any UV rays from causing damage to the bladder depending on what it’s made of? We can’t leave certain types of PVC pipe in the sun because of UV degradation.
How do you refill the bladder?
If the women don’t find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.
Good problem solving there. I like it.
