FYI It is MandeviLLa – named for Henry Mandeville, a British diplomat and gardener. I bought 2 tropical hibiscus last last year off the clearance rack. Brought them into the sunroom for winter and they are back outside now and blooming! Beautiful double peachy flower. I tried Georgia Blue twice in pots but it died. Last year put some in the ground and they came back! Flowered already. Thought I bought more last week, but got Lithodora Grace Ward instead. (that's another I killed in pots!) 8a NC
For once our stores have similar stock. I bought some darling and Lucille shastas on clearance hopefully they bounce back. I bought one thrift to see how it grows. I’ll never give sunpatients a chance again after last year they stayed thirsty in 9a heat. I’ve never seen the trailing speedwell before 🤔. Enjoyed the video

Hello Arah 👋🏽😁 can you recommend a couple of starters for “not so great” soil that only gets part sun? My front yard is north facing in zone 8A. I do fine in pots then I try and transplant to my yard and 💀

Yes the low growing Veronica are also tough…they grow well here in very hot and dry El Paso, TX
