I don’t even know what to say. What a world we live in, but I am beyond thankful for everyone in my city who pushes the limit on what is allowed with native plants!

First she reports us to code enforcement then this. I hope my citation gets dropped. They’re just flowers :)!

Those photos of her are so funny. Ppl are so annoying. I’m a dog walker and there was a house for sale on a street of old ppl and someone had put a sign in the houses yard saying “cut the grass” and it’s just like they really have nothing better to do than be personally offended at the sight of some overgrown grass.

Is she just screaming at the plants? And giving them the finger?

The only thing I can say in this lady’s defense is that it’s more neighbourly to have a border on your beds. I would be mildly irritated if my neighbors had random growth butting up against my lawn, and I try to keep a maintainable boundary between my beds and my neighbor’s lawn. Of course if you share a tree line or something that’s a different situation.

This is what lawn culture does to people. They hate life. She is infuriated by *flowers* i find that aboslutely terrifying.
Sometimes i go to the lawncare sub to remind myself that most people live in a world where the concept of biodiversity just doesn’t exist.

Time for the motion sensor sprinklers, motion sensor flood lights.

Same thing by happened to me, why do people act like wildflowers are a threat to their life? Why are they so horny for lawns? Like, I get if that’s your preference but why are you so psycho about forcing everyone being sexually attracted to a monoculture turf?

  7. People are extremely weird about non conforming gardens. I had to put a front door camera up because of a weird anonymous note I got about my “weeds” (big bluestem) being too long. At least I’ll know who left it the next time.

Please tell me you’re going to show these to the whole neighborhood.

Is it hard to get those Indian blanket flowers to take off like that?

  10. AutonomyIsNoTragedy

Make posters with her name and face to warn the neighborhood about her vandalism and antisocial behavior prowling round peoples gardens and homes at night

i’m so spoiled to live in a neighborhood where native plant front yards are the norm 😭 probably for the best, because i would get myself arrested if i caught someone vandalizing my garden. what a miserable lady; imagine if she put all that energy into volunteering or something productive.

What is she doing? In the stills it looks like she is yelling at your yard.

  13. CantTrustMyBrain

Is she just out there verbally assaulting them? What is she doing?

  14. SnapCrackleMom

These photos are 50 percent hilarious and 50 percent disturbing. She seems completely unhinged.

What are your city’s codes in terms of grass height, native plants, etc.?

I got a new neighbor last year. She complained to the city about my yard. My no lawn yard has been in existence for more than 20 years. City gave us a citation. Everything within 2 feet of the curb had to be removed. I’m still pissed.

This bitch chose to buy the house next to ours. She could see what she would be living next to. How dare she inflict her bullshit aesthetic on us.

    Fuck these lawn nazis.

cannot imagine being this miserable. the only way i can see someone ending up like this is if they truly have nothing else going on in their lives.

    Your flowers are beautiful ❤️

This person must feel so powerless and trapped in their own life. I hope they can find peace without destroying anything else along the way.

It seems like you have a lot of evidence of her trespassing on and damaging your property
