Hey all, I’ve been growing this little Monstera from a cutting for the past 4/5 months in water and it has rooted well and has started to put out new leaves. Not sure on the exact variety that this is.
I’m wondering if (and when) it would be a good time to transfer this to a soil mix with some support. Also, the newest leaf had come out almost completely white and also quite small (~12x10cm) – is it true I can constrain light conditions to encourage production of leaves with more chlorophyll?
I keep this in front of a large window along with a small grow light and feed it with liquid nourishment once every 10 days. I have a deliciosa which is maturing very quickly in comparison to this plant so wondering if I'm doing anything wrong.
Based in the UK.
TLDR
- What kind of Monstera is this? (Guessing some sort of Albo/Cream?)
- When (should?) I repot this into a chunky soil mix with something for support?
- Is there anything I can do about the almost fully white leaves?
- Anything else I should do to help this plant mature and put out larger leaves?
Thanks!

I have no idea because I just asked a rooting question too, but that white leaf is sooo pretty!
It looks like it has a lot of roots and rest to go in soil. Are you doing soil or hydro?
If soil, make sure to put it in sheer pot and not too big because the monstera roots like to snug. Watch the moisture of the soil and spray it a couple of times a day with letting the water to sit on the leaves.
I have a white leaf just like yours
