After moving to Northern Sweden, I had to learn one important thing: Nature decides your life’s speed.
There simply is something about life in Sweden that is hard to put into words… especially here in the quiet of the Swedish countryside, where nature sets the pace for everything. Just when we thought winter was over and spring had finally arrived, the snow came back – soft, heavy, and intense. A gentle reminder that life in Sweden doesn’t follow our plans, but its own rhythm.
In this cinematic vlog, I’m taking you with me through these in-between weeks – Vårvinter, the season between seasons. We spend long days in the garden, clearing years of overgrowth, reconnecting with the land, and slowly bringing this place back to life.
There are moments of deep stillness, like sitting by a frozen lake with our husky family, and moments of pure joy, like building a snow woman after thinking winter had already said goodbye.
This is life in Sweden in its most honest form – unpredictable, grounding, and quietly magical. The Swedish countryside teaches patience, presence, and how to find beauty in the unexpected 😌
Whether it’s feeding wild deer in the early morning light, working with your hands until you forget time, or simply learning to slow down again… there is so much to be found here.

Dear Vanessa, such a beautiful video, thank you. I have to share my happiness with you. We found a house in the town my husband grew up in . It was voted the most beautiful medieval town in Germany. It wasn’t on our radar, but life had other ideas. After being frustrated in Munich and wanting to move to Tirol or the mountains in Bavaria, since 2022, we found nothing suitable. In addition, we wanted a Bernese mountain dog. Just one month ago , we found a beautiful rental house, which allows us to have a dog, on the village’s periphery, next to a lake and forest. We signed the lease… today I got word from a breeder close by that her dog is pregnant and we will have our pup by the end July. My husband is self employed, but as you know, it’s a tricky road. Today he had a positive interview with a client of his and I just know he is going to get a permanent contract with them. It is if everything that was complicated for the last 4 years, have just clicked into place and solutions are just appearing like magic. One thing I want to acknowledge that was responsible for this shift was this: My attitude towards my desires. It shifted me from wishes to actual results. I know this works and will help you too. Look up Manifest Axis on YouTube or search for Neville Goddard. I have known about him for years, but I missed the essential ingredient… living as if what I wanted had already happened. In other words.. I was living life in the mental state “as if I had already received it”. That cracked it for me.. within two months, so many things shifted and worked out. I could not have arranged it in the perfect way the universe did. As a side note.. my late father in law was a cabinetmaker. The front door of the house we are renting, was made by him… I know it sounds trivial, but that was a confirmation from the universe telling me: “you see… just trust and believe”! From my heart to yours… much love!

We’ve only just subscribed to your beautiful channel, and we’re already completely captivated by it. The way you describe the stunning nature around you is truly mesmerizing, thank you for sharing that with us. We are even considering moving there one day, to build a life and truly feel at home. Here in busy Belgium, it’s becoming harder to find peace, and each day seems to demand so much energy. Last year, we visited Sweden for the opening of Jonna’s shop, and we will definitely return this July to visit her again. It was a truly unique experience, like stepping into an enchanting world. I can’t get any help from the government even though I’m disable
