It has been an incredible spring for these four. I dont know the whys or hows exactly, but we had a landslide at the back of our property (more of a slope-slide) towards our creek bed during the heavy snowmelt in early March. This seems to be what caused the massive spread of all four of these beauties.

The erosion and loss of trees concerns me. The loss of invasive honeysuckle and multiflora rose does not!

Been seeing all the New England trout lily posts on iNaturalist. It’s interesting how their bloom time varies by region. Michigan’s are also blooming right now.

The cohosh is new to me, neat flowers.
