After a successful first day, the Cullman County Master Gardener’s annual Spring Plant Sale will wrap up Saturday, April 17-18. However, if you’re looking for something to grow, get there early.
“We had around 3500 plants and I’d say we’ve already sold 60 percent,” said Master Gardener Brad Mitchell with just a couple of hours to go Friday afternoon.
Mitchell said the group’s Wildflower Sale was the biggest yet with only a few flowers remaining. He was expecting another record sale for the Spring Plant event.
The sale continues Saturday in Buildings 2 and 3 at the Cullman Fairgrounds at Sportsman Lake Park, 1544 Sportsman Road NW. The sale will be from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. or until all ornamental, vegetable and fruit plants for are gone.
