I recommend stapling some 1/4 hole fencing on the inside walls.helps keep critters out.
Wait a week to see if it gets hot. Really don’t need to turn it either. You can do it the lazy way or flip it every other day. If you want fast useable stuff, cut up the pieces smaller. Add nitrogen materials like pee, coffee grounds, grass…..
