    I only recommend that when watering it, you avoid pouring water on the leaves. The water droplets concentrate the sun, which scorches the leaves.

    It looks fine, but it also looks more like chocolate mint than regular. One of my favs to find!
    Also, even if this gets neglected or burned and the top foliage dies…trim & water it & it’ll probably bounce back in a few weeks. Life, uh, finds a way & all.

    Your plant is immortal. Don’t worry about it. Not even herbicides will kill it. You’re nieghbors are gonna love you. It’s the hardest plant to get rid of, once planted you will never be able to grow anything else there. They are basically impossible to kill or remove. I have been removing a patch for a decade that spread from my neighbor’s yard.
