What is happening? This happened last year too! I’m not seeing evidence of pests, but I’m not sure I would…help me. They’re Fall Gold raspberries and I’ve only gotten two little berries ever.
Mine did that too this year. My thought was there was a cold snap that went down into the teens for a couple days after the plants started waking up a few weeks ago. Maybe damaged the tips.

Perhaps you had a late frost? Could also check the tips to look for insects and/or disease.

Is this happening to the tips of all the canes or just the floricanes? If you prune everything to the ground you should be getting fruit from the emerging primocanes. It could be you aren’t getting sufficient chill to get a reliable floricane crop.
