I picked up this Golden Hornet from a nursery about 3 weeks ago (2nd pic) and gave it a hard prune during a bonsai club meeting. It budded back pretty well after the hard prune, so it seems to be responding well to my city balcony so far!
Hoping for some miniature apples this fall. Open to any critiques of the shaping, I picked this one since it has some good movement in the trunk.
