You won’t believe this — I saved the seeds from a pumpkin we carved from Costco, replanted them, and they are actually sprouting and growing! 🎃🌱
This has to be one of the most satisfying gardening experiments we’ve done here at NC Dragon Fruit. Store bought pumpkins are usually hybrid varieties so germination is never guaranteed — but these seeds had other plans!
Whether you’re looking to save money on seeds, reduce waste, or just try a fun gardening experiment, saving and replanting pumpkin seeds from grocery store or warehouse club pumpkins is absolutely worth trying!
