So I bumped my transcendia zebrina and the largest vine snapped what's the best thing to do to save it I plan on getting a new pot tomorrow and was also wondering what would work in this pot maybe a succulent or something should I just clean cut the vine and put in in water? Was actually a small clipping off another plant just 2 months ago

  1. I’d probably try salvaging it the same way you would grow any other clipping

Don’t stress, they grow crazy fast! Yes you can absolutely propagate it in water if you’d like, just rip off a few of the bottom leaves first so that no leaves are submerged.

Kinda a baffling plant, IMO. It grows so fast yet is so fragile!

I have the same plant. They break so easily but propagate really well in water. I just made a lot of cutting and added them in water, and once enough roots grew, I placed them with the original plant. It looks a bit bushier and nicer now 🙂

    Good luck!!

U can actually just poke the snapped stem back into the soil of the main pot. They root so fast you dont even need water propogation

Put it back in the pot. This thing is extremely resilient and super easy to propagate.
