Got this lil guy a few months ago, and I wanna fill in the empty space with cuttings from the same plant. I tried this a few months ago and the cutting just withered away in a day. Any advice is welcome.

Is this a nerve plant? How can you even touch it? I think I might just be allergic to these but it baffles me every time.
How did you try to prop last time? I think you can water prop if they have a node.
