SOS! I just adopted a number of houseplants from a family member who’s moving away and I’m unfamiliar with this plant and what pest it has.


I already drenched her with Neem oil once and will do it again soon. My aunt told me indirect sunlight and water when the soil is dry, so that’s what I’ve been doing. I just moved it from my plant foster room (spare bathroom) to the front porch which is north facing and doesn’t get any direct sunlight. Please help 🙁

    Also, I inspected all the other plants and none have this white crusty looking substance on or around it. My aunt said it lived on her front porch (also north facing and no direct light) when it got warmer. It’s been 80F since moved outside.

    Please isolate the plant. For immediate and best results look up Bonide Systemic Houseplant Granules. I believe the plant is infested by !Mealybugs.
