  3. my chickens are on my veg patch eating the slugs snails and beetles scratching the soil to cultivate it for me. next I will empty their chicken house manure in their for them to dig in the straw and manure then I will add some donkey manure. in two more weeks it will be ready to plant into

  4. We don't call soil, dirt. Soil is a living breathing organism. It's sustainable. Dirt is anything else, but soil.

  5. My family was farming before the introduction of all these toxic herbicides and pesticides were introduced; and we never had a problem raising crops. One big difference is that the landscape was teeming with life back then in a way that's indescribable. Today, they're destroying the ecosystem and our health in an attempt to squeeze a few more dollars of profit per acre.
