We have a huge lawn that wraps our rental house. Unfortunately it is now more weeds than grass, due to the current mowing company not caring. (Granted we got a cheap deal through the real-estate, so you get what you pay for).
We have every weed you can imagine, from cobbler's pegs to an ivy-like weed that is strangling the spiky plants in front of the house.
Anyway we have been told to rectify the weeds.
I'm hoping someone can help guide me to a weed killer that would be cost-effective (we all know the current state of the world) and also pet friendly. We have a Jack Russel that loves to dig & eat the grass 🫤. We cannot keep him out of the yard (I've tried) and we have nowhere to ship him to for a few days.

weed burner is the only one then or hot water from the kettle is the safer cheap option. You might also need liquid groundbreaker for your grass to do better.
Glyphosate-based weed spray gun. Turn the nozzle to jet and go for your life. 24 hours after spraying spread lawn seed and water in as per instructions.
