Here's my original post from a while ago, things are looking good! But finally at a point where I could use some feedback from more experienced folks. I know it's not ideal to have all these different kinds of plants feeding from one reservoir, so planning to fix that for next time. But for this time…

Cherry tomatoes starting to form flower buds. The plants are going absolutely crazy and have long since entered "dense jungle" territory. I have some little fans on the way for ventilation and have started stringing support lines where they look like they'd be useful.

3 very different eggplants, from large/many leaves to the sparser and leggier one that's struggling along in the shade of the tomato forest.

This Jade bean plant showed really strong early growth, early flowering, but has stayed pretty small in comparison. Also this weird spotting/discoloration on the leaves.

The spinach has stayed VERY small the whole time, even as the Chard bok choy and broccoli rabe have boomed. Basil is likewise doing great, but the chives don't seem to be growing very quickly at all which is a bummer cause I'm most looking forward to those being readily available for cut-and-come-again

The cucumbers have me quite anxious with the added layer of pollination. The left plant, near the window, started flowering first a few weeks ago, but so far still only male flowers, and they seem to be withering easily. The leaves on the window-side plant are also doing this splotchy color thing, but I think that's from before I cat proofed it and it fell victim to some nibbling. The other cuke plant (farthest from the window) seems to be healthier, with later development but stronger leaves and flowers (though, again, all male so far)

Also, hardware wise, I've had to deal with backups from drain tubes filling up with roots. I can't really get into the system to work on it since the end caps are glued on, so about once a week I have to stop the pump, let the excess drain, undo that attachment and shove the roots back into the rail proper. Any advice on that issue welcome as well.

Food is coming from the Fox Farm big bloom, Grow Big, and Tiger Bloom. Been holding consistently between 5.9 and 6.3 ph and 1.0 and 1.3 EC

So far I feel like the maiden voyage of this system is going well, considering! But would love to hear thoughts on improvements going forward if anything strikes you.

Overall, left with a sense that nature wants to feed us! This hobby is so cool!! Thanks y'all
