I’ve spent quite some time removing Spanish bluebell from my garden as it is quite aggressive where I live and honestly once the flowers fade the strappy leaves aren’t much to look at.

Top tip for bulbs – add a reminder to your calendar for sometime around September to buy your spring bulbs. And then plant them around November. Look for native bluebell bulbs. Other lovely ones to add maybe Camassia as they’re so like them but taller. And tulips. And crocus.

M bluebells have gone wild this year I had about 12 bulbs that seem to have multiplied into thousands 🤣

Bluebells! Go out in the country and you’ll see them carpet woodland floors like a Disney movie.
Spanish bluebell or more probably a hybrid with our native bluebell, which is threatened by it.
