My grandfather nickname was old man he was a great man. He fought in WW2 on the USS Canberra (CA-70). Which had gotten torpedoed on Oct. 13, 1944. He had received several medals for pulling up injured men from the blasts. He loved plants it was one of his passions so to honor him i grew a flat of some of my favorite crosses that I had germinated in his ashes
I would like to think some of his essence had gotten absorbed into the plant itself I know they germinated much faster than normal!
