Emerald zoysia sod in central Alabama just laid two weeks ago on the dot. Been watering 3 times daily for about 15-20 min each time. I was told to water the crud out of it but I’m thinking im over doing it

You’re both over and under watering. It needs to stay moist all the time the first week or two. I would do something like 10min every 1hr-1.5hrs
Could gently fluff up the brown spots with a leaf rake as well
All of the brown spots need to be filled with soil or dirt or a mix of some kind.
The sod is compacting, all the water just drains in those cracks. You need moisture retention like a topsoil mix in all of the cracks and spread out.
