Emerald zoysia sod in central Alabama just laid two weeks ago on the dot. Been watering 3 times daily for about 15-20 min each time. I was told to water the crud out of it but I’m thinking im over doing it by Forward7 landscaping 3 Comments yabadabado0 4 weeks ago You’re both over and under watering. It needs to stay moist all the time the first week or two. I would do something like 10min every 1hr-1.5hrs Mitcheson555 4 weeks ago Could gently fluff up the brown spots with a leaf rake as well Account-Manager 4 weeks ago All of the brown spots need to be filled with soil or dirt or a mix of some kind. The sod is compacting, all the water just drains in those cracks. You need moisture retention like a topsoil mix in all of the cracks and spread out.
